NIK SOFIZAN BIN NIK YUSUF

Nik Sofizan has over 30 years of experience in Grid and Power Systems, encompassing roles in engineering, automation, and digital transformation within Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). His career spans technical, operational, and strategic leadership positions, demonstrating comprehensive expertise in operational excellence and technology-driven transformation, contributing significantly to TNB’s modernisation journey.

Starting in Grid Operations, he advanced to leading Substation Automation Systems and Wide Area Protection as a specialist in power system protection, control, and automation. Leveraging this technical expertise, he played a pivotal role as Chief of Grid of the Future, driving initiatives for grid flexibility, modernisation, and digitalisation. He later served as Head of the Grid Solution Expertise Department.

He currently serves as Head of the Centre of Delivery & Operation Excellence (CDOS) in  ICT Division, where he oversees critical delivery and operational functions, aligning secure and sustainable technology solutions to enable TNB’s IT and OT operations.
