AZNI RISA RAMLAN

Azni Risa was one of YTM scholars (Batch 1991-1996) who holds a Bachelor in Engineering from the Leeds Metropolitan University of United Kingdom. She has over 20 years of Telecommunication Industry experience and is currently the Head Network Northern Region, Group Network Technology of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM). She leads the team to build and maintain a high quality network in Northern region so as delivering the best connectivity, digital infrastructure and services to the customers.

Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Network & Technology Planning in which her team is responsible to formulate TM’s network architecture and strategic master plan, leveraging the right fit technologies to deliver the business and operation requirement. She also has the experience in heading the solution organization that responsible to architect solutions based on network and IT technologies for business customers.

Throughout her career in TM, she has been very instrumental in various network transformation projects that include designing the High Speed Broadband Network, offering the first ever triple play services to the Malaysian market in 2010. Her current role expands and diverse her leadership experience in creating a significant value for the customers, to fulfil the organization’s aspiration to become the National Telecommunication Infrastructure Provider and enabler of Digital Malaysia.
