Rafidah Noordin has been appointed as Chief Technical Officer (CTO), effective October 1, 2023, making her the first female CTO in Fibrecomm Network (M) Sdn Bhd (Fibrecomm) history.

Having received the Yayasan Telekom Malaysia (YTM) scholarship, she brings a wealth of experience from two (2) decades in the telecommunication industry.

Her extensive background in product development and management, business partnerships, collaboration, sales, and marketing positions her as a bridge between customer experience and technical functions. She has acquired significant experience in both the domestic wholesale and global markets, with a particular focus on niche opportunities.

In 2007, she was honoured with the TM GCEO Merit Award for her exceptional work on the KL IP Hub initiative, and in 2021, she received another Merit Award for her contribution in capturing CDN market share within the TM CDN Value Program.

As CTO, she leads the Engineering Division, spearheading network strategy and planning, policy implementation, procedure enhancement, and service quality improvement, all in alignment with our corporate objectives, business plan, and goals.

Prior to her appointment as CTO in Fibrecomm, she held the position of Assistant General Manager, ASP/ISP & Reseller within TM Global Malaysia’s Carrier Sales division. In this role, she had the responsibility of overseeing new business opportunities with Malaysia’s MCMC NFP, NSP, ASP and ISP licensees, concentrating on both wholesale and smart services.
